I started aylaeats in 2016 when I was still at university. While everyone else was spending their student loans on alcohol and kebabs, I was broadening my education of food, slowly exploring the incredible Brighton restaurant scene (okay, there may have also been a lot of alcohol & kebabs).
I then spent around half a year working in the kitchen of a couple Brighton restaurants, as an assistant chef. As fun as it was, the stressful, high-energy life of the kitchen is not for me. I learnt that I much prefer the eating part.
I now live in Hove with my girlfriend Ellie, who is sure to make a regular appearance in my posts.
In the last 4 years, my Instagram following has grown and so has my knowledge and enthusiasm of food. I’m here to share with you my experiences as well as my all my foodie thoughts.
I promise to give my complete and honest opinion in all of my reviews. I will always try as hard as possible not to offend anyone. Having worked in kitchens before I understand it can be hard, and off days do happen.
